Employee
of the Month - May 2008
Lana
Lana is currently assigned
to the LOD Acceptance Criteria team and is dedicated at
least twenty hours per week to the project. Her
extensive knowledge and ability to think through a
process and how the process affects other areas has been
invaluable to the TexMex project. Although she spends
half of her time on this project Lana has also managed
to complete a large amount of ongoing training with the
Loan Examiners in Customer Service. Her goal is to
assure that the entire group is cross trained by July
2008. This is no easy feat in an area that handles the
daily acquisition of funds from the Trustee,
disbursement of new loans, return of funds and the LINK
loans from application through grace.
Never one to turn down an opportunity to assist other
areas, Lana is constantly reviewing the workflows in the
Customer Service area to assure process flows are
correct and making suggestions for efficiencies when
possible. She takes the initiative to speak with other
areas and assure that changes made will not adversely
affect other departments.
Lana consistently exhibits
the traits that are important. Her willingness to take
on new challenges even during this hectic time in
Customer Service is commendable.
Lana has gone above and
beyond the call of duty by assuring that she is always
available to the areas for which she is Senior during
this very stressful and demanding time. She never
complains and makes sure that she is always positive.
As a Senior Loan Examiner she is expected to behave
professionally at all times. She has exceeded this
expectation and is an excellent role model to the entire
department.
Congratulations, Lana!!
