Stafford Loans are federal student loans made available to students
attending a college or university at least half time. Students loans supplement personal and family resources,
scholarships, grants, and work-study. Stafford loans are not credit
based and the interest on a Stafford loan may be subsidized by the U.S. Government or unsubsidized depending
on the student's financial need.
